British jeweller Graff is known for big diamonds and geometric forms, but their latest masterpiece is very different. Unveiled during Paris Couture Week, the Gift of Love necklace depicts two birds in flight with 125 carats of varied-cut diamond “feathers”, one bearing a 13.51 fancy intense yellow diamond in its onyx beak. Three years and 6,000 hours went into composing this symphony of stone in Graff’s London workshop.

Zenith, meanwhile, chose white gold and multi-coloured sapphires for its latest El Primero-driven Chronomaster, and TAG Heuer has a Carrera tourbillon with in-house movement.
Two decades on, Louis Vuitton is reviving its popular collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami.
