Fishing, foraging and a masterclass in Thai cooking at Trisara

Apron up for a top-to-toe lesson in Thai cuisine headed up by the resort's chef Chalermchai Prakobkitand. Kick off the culinary journey on a luxury yacht en route to the idyllic island of Koh Racha, where you'll fish the island's sailfish, tuna and mackerel. Back on board, get your hands dirty as you prepare toothsome seafood specialities from the day's catch. Old Phuket Town's buzzy market is also a treasure trove for fresh, seasonal ingredients. After stocking up on lemongrass, okra and morning glory, day two continues in a heritage mansion, where local personalities share long-forgotten recipes. After lunch, take a laidback tour of the town before heading back to home base for a well-deserved BBQ. Day 3 whisks you away to Pru Jumpa, the hotel's own 61ha stretch of land teeming with natural lakes, forests and a farm. Here you'll forage herbs, veggies and farm-fresh eggs for the grand finale: preparing - and then devouring - a 6-course, wine-paired feast with prize-winning sous chef Jimmy.

About

Wrapped in a tropical forest, Trisara’s 60 ocean-facing pool villas and 2-8 bedroom residences embrace a quiet private beach on Phuket’s west coast, just 15 minutes from Phuket Airport. Inspired by Thailand’s rich heritage, rooted in timeless tradition and bound to nature, Trisara offers sincere, generous experiences that celebrate spiritual and physical wellbeing and encourage moments of reflection and connection.

Trisara’s pool suites and villas are designed with generous spaces, rich interiors and thoughtful details. Each villa offers a sense of total privacy and spectacular views of the Andaman sea and sunsets. Dining at Trisara is all about connecting with the community. PRU brings the farm to the table, foraging and harvesting from Trisara’s own farm, Pru Jumpa, while Seafood at Trisara serves authentic sea-to-table cuisine inspired by local “mamas”. Don’t miss the iconic Sunday Jazz Brunch, or to experience a poolside barbeque in the comfort of your private pool villa.

JARA Spa is inspired by a century-old spiritual ficus tree at the heart of the resort, offering unique treatments inspired by traditional Thai medicine, as well as indulgent experiences such as the Trisara Royal 6-Hand Massage. Trisara’s secluded beachfront is perfect for watersport, and a dedicated jetty in the high season allows guests to discover world-heritage site Phang Nga Bay onboard a luxurious yacht.
