La Soupe Populaire

Art-filled dining space with food by Tim Raue

At the always crowded La Soupe Populaire, guest dine in a minimalist setting of vintage furnishings, with a menu that complements the dining room’s display of contemporary art. Here, chef Tim Raue presents his interpretations of Königsberger meatballs as well as Bienenstich – a popular German layered dessert with a sweet honey topping – amidst the post-industrial atmosphere of the Bötzow Brewery on Prenzlauer Allee. In all his restaurants, Raue avoids a stuffy atmosphere, targeting both veteran epicureans and a younger, curious crowd.
