Oslo’s finest prix-fixe occasions

The Michelin honours (Fauna received its first star in 2014) are well-deserved at Fauna, where the five-course prix fixe menus are lauded by locals and visitors for their considerable value in a city hardly known for affordable fine dining. Run by three friends including chef Jo Bøe Klakegg, who has a stint at Noma to his name, the restaurant spotlights pure Norwegian seafood such as scallops (served raw), lobster, skate and, when the seasons allow, predominantly Nordic produce, too.
