HIX Mayfair

British classics and exquisite afternoon tea

At Brown’s Hotel in Mayfair, celebrated chef and restaurateur Mark Hix puts an original spin on British cuisine at his restaurant HIX. Made cosy with wood-panelled walls, green leather booths and artwork by some of the best contemporary British artists, the restaurant’s dining room mirrors the sophistication of the kitchen. Using only local, seasonal ingredients, the British classics served here include roast rack of lamb, chargrilled Dover sole and red deer wellington. For parties of eight or more, the restaurant offers "feast menus", while the restaurant’s quintessentially English afternoon tea service of sandwiches, scones and pastries is one of the finest in London.
