En vogue locale for nuevo French food

For the likes of duck confit mole negro, try this French-Latin bistro from recent New York transplants Jenny Grondin and David Segarra, who helped open Fatty Crab and Fatty ‘Cue in their hometown. The menu spans light plates of chorizo clams, garlic-drenched escargots and prawn ceviche served with Kauai shrimp and chilli, to heavier rations of pan-roasted Jidori chicken and tasty strip steaks in sauce au poivre. Rough-hewn brick walls and black-and-white tiled floors give the place a vintage feel.
