Henry Poole and Adidas combine to produce bespoke suit fabric

The latest fruit of the collaboration between the Saville Row pioneer Henry Poole & Co and the sportswear giant Adidas is this sumptuous suit fabric.
Featuring 9oz flannel, crafted by Prince of Wales check-maker the Fox Brothers, the fabric is adorned with the famous bluebird-blue three stripes. The blue is based on the colour in the Bavarian flag – Adidas founder Adi Dassler was a fan.
There is enough cloth for just 50 suits, which will be tailored to fit each individual client, with the overall design directed by the buyer, too.
Last year, the pair combined to produce two special edition Adidas Originals trainer lines featuring Henry Poole fabric.
That link-up began when Adidas visited Henry Poole’s shop and chose a chalk-stripe flannel from the archives.
