A century of ground-breaking innovations and technological advances is marked with the unveiling of the BMW Individual 7 Series THE NEXT 100 YEARS. As the name suggests, far from harking back to past glories, this limited edition of the Bavarian manufacturer’s flagship model is very much all about the future, with the three engine variants including a plug-in hybrid luxury sedan in which the four-cylinder petrol engine and electric motor combine with impressive efficiency. Just 100 models of this anniversary version will be made – all of which will come in the exclusive exterior colour, Centennial Blue metallic, and interiors honed to provide the utmost comfort with BMW Individual fine-grain Merino full leather trim to the fore.

All the outstanding features of the latest 7 Series are present and correct – from the carbon core body structure to remote-controlled parking and advanced iDrive system - while the icing on the cake is offered by a collaboration with an equally renowned name. All 100 models come with an exclusive Montblanc for BMW Centennial Fountain Pen – a writing implement made to high standards of the master pen manufacturer (also celebrating an anniversary – 110th – this year) with design elements inspired by BMW, from that same Centennial Blue colour to the engraving of the unique backstitching of the 7 Series’s leather seats on the back of the rhodium-plated gold Montblanc nib.
