Ford’s iconic GT coupe makes a long-awaited comeback
Fifty-one years after its landmark victory at Le Mans with the original GT, Ford has once again revamped the model with a plethora of stunning features. With its aerodynamically savvy teardrop shape, the updated two-seater coupe can reach speeds of 347 kph via a 3.5-litre V6 engine. Designed for both the racetrack and the road, the GT’s bodywork is comprised of 45 bonded-together carbon-fibre pieces. Inside, the cabin is replete with unlacquered carbon fibre, while the supercar has five drive modes: normal, sport, track, V-max and wet.
