Hong Kong’s jewellery world will raise the bar for the industry’s trade fairs this year

Sponsored by

Under the theme “A Sparkling Feast Crafted in Excellence”, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) has brought together two dazzling shows - the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show and the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem and Pearl Show - under a hybrid model, EXHIBITION+. The physical fair will take place from 1 to 5 March at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, while online platform “Click2Match” runs until 12 March, allowing industry players to extend their reach across the ocean.

The twin shows will feature more than 2,200 exhibitors from around the world, with superlative jewellery at the heart of the displays but plenty of attention will be paid to the materials used in the creation of such wondrous pieces.

Of the various theme zones in the Jewellery Show, The “Hall of Extraordinary” will feature remarkable pieces from some of the world’s top jewellery companies, while the “Hall of Fame” will also showcase esteemed brands. “World of Glamour”, “Hall of Jade Jewellery” and “Antique & Vintage Jewellery Galleria” are among the other areas, highlighting the depth and breadth of the event.

Similarly, in its exploration of jewellery’s raw materials, The Diamond, Gem and Pearl Show will host three zones – the top diamond suppliers in the “Hall of Fine Diamond”; the “Treasures of Nature”, dedicated to finest coloured gems; and the highest quality pearls in “Treasures of Ocean”.

As well as the physical shows, HKTDC is committed to enhancing opportunities and cooperation within the industry, with online and offline events hosted by the Intelligence Hub; the smart business matching platform Click2Match (from 1-12 Mar); and the hktdc.com Sourcing platform providing an array of supporting services.

With 50 global offices, HKTDC has a global reach, reflected in the international profile of the fair with pavilions from the Japan Pearl Exporters Association, India’s Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council, Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association, Italian Trade Commission and many more. Welcome to the new world of trade fairs.
