Richard Mille partners with aviation firm Airbus Corporate Jets to create an ode to exacting aviation and technical progress in the skies

A sleek vision in titanium and ceramic framed with exposed Torq screws, the Richard Mille RM 50-02 ACJ Tourbillon Split Seconds Chronograph serves to highlight the common ground between two very different fields, united in pushing material and manufactory advancement.
Drawn up by Sylvain Mariat, Head of Airbus’ Corporate Jet unit’s Creative Design Studio, in close collaboration with Richard Mille R&D brains Julien Boillat and Salvador Arbona, the RM 50-02 ACJ boasts a number of aeronautical design elements. High-tech material coatings and usage of titanium-aluminium alloys, the same used for Airbus jet turbine blades, notwithstanding, the distinctive Airbus window silhouette frames the RM50-02 tourbillon calibre, while a jet engine inspired crown bearing Airbus’ wave logo provides the finishing touch to a distinctive limited edition (only 30 are available) timepiece.
