A Pearl on the Water
Heesen-built, Omega Architects and Frank Laupmann-styled Project Akoya hits the water

The fifth unit of Heesen’s award-winning 50 metre class, Project Akoya was launched at a private ceremony in the Netherlands on 1 April, ready for a season of extensive sea trials to test her mettle in the North Sea, before delivery to her owner in June this year.
The shark grey hull and elegantly defined four separate deck areas (private foredeck, 70sq m sundeck, upper deck aft terrace and multipurpose main deck) gift myriad occasions to enjoy the open air space on-board, while inside a total of 12 guests can be accommodated in 6 staterooms, with the master located on the main deck and 5 guest cabins (including one full-beam VIP) on the lower deck. The interior design is by Christiano Gatto and the interior styling by Marcel Wolterinck.
