High concept Oceanco superyacht Moonstone brings a sense of wonder to the waves

Boasting such unique features as an intriguing external aesthetic by Van Geest Design and private owners’ deck with master suite, the recently unveiled Moonstone superyacht concept from Dutch shipyard Oceanco was one of many to turn heads at the Dubai Boat Show.
Glittering like its namesake gemstone, the multi-faceted hull design naturally plays with the light, reflecting it to emit a “twinkle” effect, enhanced further come nightfall where embedded LED panels controllable via smartphone can personalise the light show, transforming the 90-metre ship into a floating art installation.
Further to Moonstone’s striking visuals, Oceanco’s portfolio also boasts unlikely new arrows to its quiver with the addition of multiple sailing yachts. In 2015 Oceanco delivered their first sailing yacht, the 85m Aquijo, and will soon follow with the Solar, which, at 108m in length and featuring DynaRigging is appropriately solar-powered. It will accommodate 12 guests in 6 cabins.
