Golf in Mauritius & the Seychelles
Perfect your swing in the most scenic of locations
Combining beach living with a number of excellent golf courses, Mauritius is fast becoming a contender as one of the world’s best golfing destinations. Designed by Ernie Els, Anahita has hosted the AfrAsia Golf Masters on a course that winds in and out of trees and along the waterfront.
Part of a designated golf resort, the 18-hole Tamarina course is located next to the Rempart River and the Indian Ocean. Enjoying a dramatic setting, the course is designed for all levels of players with 5 starting options for each hole.
Home to the youthful Mauritius Open tournament, Heritage Golf Course and Club boasts a sprawling, 100 hectare plus 18-hole course designed by noted South African architect firm Peter Malkovich and Hayes. A gently hilly terrain flecked with waterways lagoons and a leafy, palm fringed clubhouse.
There may only be one golf course in the Seychelles, but thankfully, it’s a good one. Designed by Rodney Wright and Marc Farry, the views from the course at Constance Lémuria on the island of Praslin are stunning, whilst green fees are complimentary for those staying at the hotel.
