One&Only Le Saint Géran
Revamped bliss on a private peninsula

“She is back and she is not afraid to make a splash,” crows the One&Only website, and Le Saint Géran certainly does just that. This Mauritian mainstay returns after its first revamp since 1999, and is bolstered by a pan-Asian restaurant, Tapasake, the re-enlivened ESPA spa and, later in 2018, 50 pool villas available to buy or rent (they replace the resort’s nine-hole golf course). Its accommodations dazzle the eyes with colonial interiors mixed with local stonework and classy artwork; choose between views of the lagoon, the Indian ocean or the khaki-coloured sands. Outside of the complex, Mauritius affords a profuse number of activities, for example power sports, scuba diving, or One&Only’s own Experiences, such as a Harley Davidson tour or shark diving to spot Grey Reefs and Whitetips.
