The transformation of this once-working farmstead into palatial country digs can be attributed to nothing other than the passion of owners Edith and Patrick Saut. A lifelong ambition of theirs, Domaine de Manville – to this day – still harvests its own olives, tomatoes and many a Provencal produce, but in addendum to production, some 30 elegant rooms and suites plus 9 villas – homely Annie Zeau-designed enclaves respectful of, and inspired by the setting. Stretching from the property toward the craggy peaks of the Alpilles, an 18-hole golf course beckons.
