Egerner Höfe
In the Tegernsee Valley, traditional Bavarian lodgings a stone’s throw from the water

Set a street back from the water of Lake Tegernsee, Egerner Höfe stands tall in typical Alpine style – all crisp white-stuccoed walls and carved wooden window shutters and balconies. The main residence offers up rooms toeing the line between tradition – Alpine influences in the liberal use of wood – and contemporary – in zeitgeist-ey furnishings and flourishes that edge the spaces into modern. The stylistically consistent spa restores, while haute-Bavarian cuisine awaits in the Hubertusstüberl restaurant. The in-house beer Gold-Blond is claimed to have stolen many a heart, but we feel that accolade may better belong to the Egerner Alm residence – an 18th century style cabin with precipitous views of the surrounding mountains.
