Hofgut Hafnerleiten
Retreat of contemplative cool
What began as a cookery school some 15 years ago has blossomed into commune centred on a culinary lifestyle and with restorative retreats. The accommodations, all private guesthouses, share a sense of cool modernity and the themed houses prove a particular draw for their unique twists, such as the stilt-perched treehouse. Culinary proceedings begin the day with the delivery of fresh bread and coffee, and continue with the possibility of cookery and barista classes – founder Erwin Rückerl is a barista champion – and meals at the no-card restaurant specialising in small-scale, regional produce.
