Domes Miramare
Seductive lodgings on Corfu’s coast

Marking the Luxury Collection’s foray into Corfu (the hotel will join the brand in August), Domes is marketed as an adults-only retreat with 113 guest rooms, suites and villas. Often the province of big names – the original property was built for the socialite Onassis family – the resort boasts graceful modernist accommodations, the Pavilion Suite Sea View an apt indicator of the watercolour shades and marble on display (not to mention the lookout showing the turquoise Ionian Sea). Michelin chef Tassos Mantis is responsible for Miramare’s seasonal Greek fare, and a bursting wellness programme – think yoga in the beachside olive gardens – adds to the promise.
