Angama Mara
Tented suites with peerless views across the Maasai Mara reserve
Two camps of 15 tents apiece make up the accommodations of Angama Mara, each positioned to give guests an equal share of the mesmerising Maasai Mara view sprawling out some 300 metres below. The tents are a spacious affair: 100sq m suites of canvas, tailored to a bespoke design and incorporating floor-to-ceiling glass; butler lobby for discrete service and decor taking in an inflection of African style. For the brave, a deck area extends into the air over the valley; a fire-pitted perch to take in the view and enjoy the camp’s bar-cum-restaurant.
