A popular after-work gathering place for locals



You’ll hear La Parada at least a block before you see it — this lively tapas bar is not for a low-key night out, with loud music, a boisterous clientele and patrons regularly spilling out to continue their revelry on the street. The Spanish restaurant is helmed by chef Andres Conde, formerly of El Bulli, but most patrons don’t come here for the food; it’s a mixed bag. Instead, it’s all about the scene.
