Set on a man-made beach not far from the V&A Waterfront, Shimmy Beach Club has quickly become one of Cape Town’s sexiest nightclubs ever since it opened in late 2012. But we recommend paying two visits to really appreciate the setting: come in the day to enjoy cocktails by the pool; return at night to kick off your heels and dance in the sand to hit DJs like South Africa’s own Goldfish.
