MEI
Late-night lounge for whiskey and cocktails
Part of the newest digs on the block, Rosewood Beijing, MEI promises to leave an impression purely in the act of getting to it. Accessible only by a private outdoor elevator in sight of the striking OMA-designed CCTV tower, any semblance of this being another hotel bar are likely dispelled. Within, a cavernous space split into three distinct bars each offering their own extensive selections of masterfully prepped whiskies, wines and cocktails – and furnished to the same high degree of understated sophistication to which this club belongs.
