Named for the glamorously louche (and fictitious) 1920s-era socialite, The Peninsula’s darkly alluring nightspot feels low key and theatrical at once. Among bold animal-print ottomans, richly textured wallpaper, commanding oil portraits and crimson lanterns, couples down the joint’s signature vodka-and-lychee-infused Ning Slings behind beaded-drapes or mingle – champagne in hand – under dimly lit cascading chandeliers.
