Lapérouse
Historic venue overlooking the Seine
This storied restaurant and bar overlooking the Seine owes as much of its success to its excellent (and picturesque) location, as it does to its sumptuous decor. Over the years, it has gained and shed Michelin stars – the plush interiors, however, have remained. Although the establishment dates back to 1766, its look was shaped in the 19th century, allegedly with creative input from the literati who frequented the restaurant at the time.
