Discreet speakeasy with a knack for cocktails

Tricky to find, though surely part of its speakeasy appeal, Downtown Cocktail Room is centrally located in downtown Las Vegas, hiding a 280sq m bohemian space behind its unassuming exterior. Inside, dapper barkeepers are skilled at what they do, mixing complex cocktails from a seasonally changing menu; savoury ingredients, fresh herbs and rare spirits are often incorporated. An absinthe menu is also available, served in the styles traditional, panache or scorched, while big plush armchairs, red booths and moody lighting all add to the bar’s swanky, cosy character.
