Pneumatic novelty and the possibly the best coffee in Christchurch under one vast roof
Combining Heath Robinson and fast food may sound like an idea best left on the drawing board but the bizarre pneumatic tubes at C1 Espresso (located in the old central Christchurch post office) really do deliver fries and sliders to your table. After this the vintage sewing machine which dispenses water can seem a little mundane but the coffee is a major draw all on its own; the in house store also means that you can take their C1 coffee and Golden Panther tea range home with you.
