Held at the same time as Art Basel in December (an arrangement that is reciprocated in Switzerland in June), Design Miami celebrates design culture and commerce, bringing together influential collectors, gallerists, designers, curators and critics from around the world. As well as giving out awards (Design Visionary, Designer of the Future), a new element, Design Curio is on the agenda, inviting participants to bring forth a cabinet of curiosities to share with the assembled visitors.
