Ornellaia
Storied vineyard estate producing five-star vintage bottles
Since 1981, the Ornellaia estate and its vineyards have produced outstanding wine, and more recently, offer tours of the barrel cellar with guided tastings of current vintages. Tastings are followed by a Tuscan lunch made with seasonal produce and paired with the estate’s own wines, put together by the estate’s house chef. The vineyard occupies a unique location near the small village of Bolgheri; the coastal plane here provides the ideal climate and ripening conditions essential to the wine’s complexity and rich Mediterranean flavour profile.
