Takatu Vineyard
Libations and lodgings at this viticultural wonderland

Takatu vineyard stands as the singular result of a longstanding love for wine, alongside the value of hard work and a patient, hands-on approach. Opting for modifications on the Pinot Gris, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec vines themselves in order to influence the resulting wine, such organic practices over additive means lead to batches of wines that garner recognition the world over. The cellar door is open select hours on weekends for tastings – outside of this by appointment only. Onsite, the Takatu Lodge gives a contemporary, homely means to explore not just Takatu, but the surrounding wine county and beaches too, accompanied by a bottle or two of Takatu’s own, of course.
