Al Muntaha
On top of the world at the Burj Al Arab
Perched high up on the 27th storey of the Burj Al Arab, within the flat overhang looking out across the gulf, sits Al Muntaha. Accessible only through a private elevator, panoramic views on the ride up prepare diners for the "top-of-the-world" feeling the restaurant effuses. Arguably dated decor does not detract from the restaurant’s stunning position; neither do the stylish modern-European dishes that are plated here. Window seats are definitely preferable for the Gulf, Palm and Jumeirah views. Tuesdays through Sundays sees a musical duet underscore proceedings, as opposed to Monday’s more hushed ambience.
