Izakaya Amsterdam
Riverside residence with a laid-back vibe
The open kitchen with authentic Robata grill is probably the only thing traditional about this buzzing Japanese venue. The atmosphere is part sleek cocktail bar (verging on nightclub), part laid-back neighbourhood hangout. Food, ranging from sushi (rated by some as the best in town) and small cooked dishes, to a special charcoal hot plate, is made to be shared and enjoyed informally.
