The Kingham Plough

Always fresh, award-winning pub food

Highly acclaimed and regularly listed as one of Oxfordshire’s – if not the country’s – top pubs for food, chef-proprietor Emily Watkins and husband Miles Lampson proffer up the gold standard in gastropubs. Plates of homemade everything – bar snacks like the hand-raised pork pie with ploughman’s pickle, to the main card’s rabbit wellington; quality British soul food complemented by a cosy bar serving draft ales, ciders and wine. Six bedrooms are also on hand to extend the meal and libations to the next morning, with a hearty breakfast of kedgeree or full English – with homemade baked beans, naturally.
