The Kingham Plough
Always fresh, award-winning pub food

Highly acclaimed and regularly listed as one of Oxfordshire’s – if not the country’s – top pubs for food, chef-proprietor Emily Watkins and her husband Miles Lampson proffer the gold standard in gastropubs. Plates of homemade everything – bar snacks such as the hand-raised pork pie with ploughman’s pickle, to the main card’s rabbit wellington; quality British soul food complemented by a cosy bar serving draft ales, ciders and wine. Six bedrooms are also on hand to extend the meal and libations into the next morning, tuck into the hearty breakfast of kedgeree or a full English – with homemade baked beans, naturally.
