The Porch House
Crackling fireside warmth at this gastro pub in Stow-on-the-Wold
After sizeable investment by owners Brakspear Breweries, the Grade II-listed Porch House in the eye-catching Georgian market town of Stow-on-the-Wold is a timeless wonder. Head chef Stephen Small purveys a regularly changing menu in a warren of low-ceilinged dining and drinking spaces consisting of restored fireplaces, exposed beams, flagstone floors and mix-and-match chairs. A private dining parlour offers exclusivity and a tailored menu to parties, and the Pub and Conservatory area pours Brakspear real ales, and other local brews.
