Meat-heavy quality on Sunset Boulevard
The fruit of a decade of hard work, Gwen – eatery and butchers shop – sees brothers Curtis and Luke Stone combine to offer unmissable fine dining. With an abundance of menu choices – from the a la carte option to the 10-course tasting journey to the pre-theatre dishes – the Sunset Boulevard spot is generating some substantive acclaim. Obviously, meat takes precedent here: in the house-made charcuterie, the grilled halibut and the hanger steak, to name just a trio. Don’t be fooled by the restaurant’s huge size, though, as it seats just 80 people. Be sure to book in advance.
