As its name would indicate, the entire menu at Firedoor is cooked with fire. Its open kitchen features two custom-made wood-fired ovens, four grills and an Australian Aga. With his first (own) restaurant, Lennox Hastie has quite literally blazed a trail through Sydney's foodie scene and achieved the seemingly impossible – to deliver something so new, people didn't even know they craved it.
