Long Chim
Spicy rations in a chic space
David Thompson’s newest revelation is putting the spice back into the CBD’s culinary scene. The street-facing area has banquettes in olive-coloured leather, while around the corner in the back (the kitchen is exposed on two sides) are private booths, each with their own disco ball. There’s plenty of fire in the cuisine, but must-trys include the mashed prawn curry and deep-fried soft-shell crabs.
