Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta
Modern all-suite city digs
This new Four Seasons outpost joins the César Pelli-designed Capital Place development, an architectural wonder amid Jakarta’s business district. Suite interiors are Alexandra Champalimaud atelier-designed spaces boasting chinoiserie panelling and Italian marble bathrooms, where wall-to-wall windows give city skyline views out and allow generous amounts of light in. A verdant garden terrace gives a tropical edge – plus pool terrace and spa both give pause for sybarites seeking solace in the city. Morning-noon-night supping is covered by the property’s four eateries, which includes the see-and-be-seen Nautilus bar.
