The 128 villas are universally stunning – and huge, fashioned from natural materials with a chic Asian feel and private pools. The manmade island is equally vast with 12 beaches (where the sand, 10 years on, has now finally settled), a multitude of bars and restaurants (be prepared to dress up, it’s really quite glitzy), an impressive spa and a fantastic kids’ club.
