Raffles Singapore
Storied bastion of colonial elegance
A Lion City landmark for nearly 130 years, Singapore’s undisputed grande dame is many things – the birthplace of the Singapore Sling, the historic home-from-home to royals and other bold-named faces, a listed national monument – but dated or ageing is not one of them.

With its recently renovated and artfully restored colonial design, its high ceilings, period furniture, marble floors and lush tropical gardens are just as remarkable as they were over a century ago, a theme visible throughout its 115 suites and myriad dining rooms and bars (including the famous Long Bar).
