Kempinski Vier Jahreszeiten
A historic venue with a modern twist
First opened in 1858, this hotel on Munich’s chicest stretch, the Maximilianstraße, numbers among the oldest accommodations in the city. All 300 rooms sport a unique configuration and antique furniture dating back to the hotel's inaugural era. Still, it’s no time capsule. €19 million have been poured into refurbishments since 2008, like the freshening up of guest rooms and suites, as well as the redesign of the main entrance involving 12 tons of Sicilian marble. Guests can also indulge in all manner of dining options, including the Schwarzreiter Tagesbar & Restaurant, which puts a modern spin on Bavarian classics.
