Several years ago, English designer Ilse Crawford caught the eye of Jeanette Mix, seeing her two contrasting dining rooms for Mathias Dahlgren’s eponymous restaurant at the city’s Grand Hôtel, Mix asked her to design the 12-key Ett Hem (“home” in Swedish), which opened three years ago in a peaceful, residential part of town. More private club than hotel, the property’s contemporary Scandinavian interiors filled with vintage pieces and exquisite George Jensen accessories make for a refreshing home-from-home atmosphere.
