Beau-Rivage Palace
Striking retreat on Lake Geneva

A 150-year stalwart on Lausanne’s haute hotel scene, this elegant edifice on the shores of Lake Geneva, and at the foot of the Alps, is known not least as the historical site where several important treaties were signed – including the 1912 armistice between Italy and Turkey and the Treaty of Lausanne. Today the property remains as stoic as ever, having benefitted from a recent, CHF100m renovation which saw the refurbishment of its 169 rooms and suites. The hotel also features a Cinq Mondes Spa, as well as a number of restaurants (including one by celebrity chef Anne-Sophie Pic).
