Rosewood Puebla
Mexican tradition abounds in this colourful and chic hostelry
The Rosewood chain’s latest Mexico hostelry is a series of discerning buildings dotted around a courtyard, all planted in Puebla’s exquisite Unesco-listed old town. Rooms and suites are bedecked in the local mode, adorned with flourishes such as ceramic floors, Puebloan heritage artwork and Talavera tiles. Some add in panoramic city views. For easy street-style nibbles Café Azul Talavera is a good bet, while Pasquinel Bistrot takes the dining experience up a level, not least through its open-kitchen design.
