Spicers Potts Point
Victorian splendour in a hip Sydney suburb
The newest Spicers retreat makes use of three former townhouses inside an 1880s Victorian terrace. But, while the property stays true to that era, the interior of the 20 expansive rooms follows modern trends with wooden-slat floors, white-marble fireplaces and nautically themed artwork, plus splendid bathrooms with freestanding baths. Its extension creates an intimate reception bar and a refined garden courtyard. The hotel group also throws in a ‘Spicers Potts Point Passport’, enabling access to exclusive offerings at its hand-picked restaurants and bars dotted around what is a growingly hip part of town.
