Minaret Station
This luxury tented camp is about as remote as it gets in the Southern Alps
Reachable only by helicopter, the awe-inspiring flight into this collection of four gorgeous chalets is well worth the effort to see the raw Southern Alps at its most pristine and untouched. Owned by the Wallis family, pilot Nick can arrange ultra-remote drop offs for heli-skiing though you may simply want to luxuriate in the chalets themselves. More like suites in their dimensions, each contains a hot tub on the outdoor deck, heated bathroom floors and ample lounging room to simply watch the red stags roam the rough and tumble slopes at sunset.
