While schnitzel and germknödel are as much part of a perfect day's skiing in Austria as the powder snow in the morning, more and more ski fans at dizzy heights sometimes desire more sophisticated culinary delights and Ice Q shows that ski resorts are responding to this wish. Opened in 2014 in Sölden, Q has impressed not only with its all-glass facade, 3,048 metres above sea level, but with Patrick Schnedl’s tasty morsels such as corn chicken and shellfish linguini.
