M.N. ROY
See-and-be-seen after-party hot spot
Clandestine by nature, M.N ROY is named for the founder of the Mexican Communist Party – itself a secret organisation at founding – and eponymous former resident of this deceivingly situated club. Revellers queuing outside this seemingly dilapidated ice cream parlour will find inside a veritable church of contemporary cool. Designed by Emmanuel Picault and Ludwig Godefroy (Chic by Accident), a hall-like stage of towering strips of wood, copper, leather and volcanic rock sets the scene for many a late night. Technically a private club (with exceptions), reservation is the best bet for entry.
