Carne
Cape Town’s best steakhouse with three locations
South Africans take their meat very seriously, be it beef, lamb, ostrich or springbok. No one does it all better than chef Giorgo Nava, whose Milanese-style steakhouse Carne on Keerom Street in the heart of the CBD (just opposite his celebrated Italian eatery 95 Keerom) was such a hit that he’s since opened two more outlets, one on Kloof Street and one in the wine-region suburb of Constantia. No matter which one you go to, you can’t go wrong with the spider steak or the Karoo lamb loin.
