A farm-to-table dining experience in Beijing with a Chef’s Table and notable dessert menu
Inspired by Mediterranean cuisine, this farm-to-table restaurant works with more than 20 local farms near Beijing and across China to bring diners an impressive, seasonal five-course “Essentially Krug Menu”. Dishes such as the 65°C egg with leek and deep-fried green pepper sauce and the Australian wagyu M9+ beef short rib with cauliflower purée and oriental choucroute put the fresh organic produce on display; meanwhile, the dessert menu is a beauty of its own with plates reflecting the four elements – earth, wind, fire and water. Reserve a seat at The Chef’s Table – which seats six to eight diners – near the kitchen and watch the talented chefs prepare dishes at the table.
